Environmental engineers and consultants require reclamation surveys to assist in providing documentation to AER. These surveys provide a record of the conditions during the land rehabilitation process identifying the extent of the abandoned sites, any buried foreign objects and locations of any soil testing. PGI supports these operations of restoring land used for oil and gas development to a productive state equivalent to pre-drilling conditions.
Precision Geomatics proposed this project to provide the survey and as-built management team for Pipeline Alley in spring of 2000 and commenced field work in the spring of 2002. The focus was to offer a single resource for all stakeholders in this very congested area on the East side of Edmonton to keep detailed account of the extensive underground and surface development. Precision Geomatics has continued to offer the handling of all the aspects of surveying, mapping, data management, and underground line locating for clients in the area to this day.

AB transportation has recently encountered frackouts within large infrastructure corridors creating road heaves and surface fluid loss. We have engaged in monitoring these drill program effects on road surface deformation to identify any impact from the process. The primary focus is to reduce any road closures, damages or repairs on major infrastructure sites and identify Geotechnical limitations and drilling responsibilities.
Our team has previous experience servicing the telecommunications market in Western Canada creating legal surface leases, construction layout, fiber optic alignments and right-of-way plan registrations.
